The new Craftsman FeatherLite models, which have a large exposed nut just above the
original bump and feed head, even if they have a curved shaft, require that you follow the directions for a straight shaft trimmer.
Also, a few of the older Craftsman trimmers require a nut that is not in the kit, and you can call 800-210-9949 or email
us here and we will send the nut that your trimmer requires at no charge to you.
