The Cub Cadet trimmers with the fixed line heads present special assembly problems which are detailed below. These trimmers have a different shaft configuration than their other trimmers, and this requires that on two of the trimmers, the ones with the yellow or red plastic head, that minor modifications be made to the OEM head. These modifications are easy and do no damage to the head.
